Fuming with inexplicable wrath, I stormed inside our room and saw Zariah was asleep with her head resting on the table.
She was exhausted and seeing her made me infuriated.
Growling, I grabbed her jaws, making her eyes flutter open, making her look into my disturbed eyes.
"By destroying my sleep, you are enjoying a lull, huh?" I taunted, forcing her to stand, to meet my eyes which were dolorous.
“Why didn’t you shoot!?” I yelled, making her flinch in dread.
“I couldn’t…” She replied sincerely.
But it was becoming hard for me to trust her.
