“Don’t stress yourself. You have to rest...” Elinor gently brushed Nyx’s hair away from her face with great affection in her eyes. Such a gaze sickened Nyx.

“What did you do? What did you tell him? Call him! Tell him to come back!” The weak voice got louder. That bad feeling in her chest merged with the physical pain, and Nyx couldn’t tell them apart anymore. It just hurt. Everything hurt. Maybe it were the strange gazes or the sense of foreboding, but a crippling fear roused, and she couldn’t shake it off.
