The elevator arrived, and the two of them got inside. James pressed the button for the garage and rubbed his hands against his thighs again. Next to him, Nyx pretended she didn’t notice how nervous James was. If she teased him about it, the poor guy would only feel worse. It was too early in the morning to embarrass him. Actually, she didn’t want to embarrass him at all. His reaction last night and now his nervousness put her in a good mood. It was just like five years ago, before they started dating.
