Nyx walked to the door of the office and waited for her sister to walk out so she could close the door. The youth still hadn’t given up. She walked out of the office, but glued herself to Nyx, pleading nonstop. The latter ignored her, as if Carly wasn’t even there. Such a sight earned the two of them the odd looks of many of Nyx’s co-workers as the two of the walked out of the building.
