Ava had to jolt out of the sleep she was slowly drifting into. She bit back on her tongue to prevent the folds of scream threatening to blurt from her mouth. There was never a thing referred to as peace of mind in the dictionary of the Finlay's. There was always one trouble or the other that they had to deal with.
