After the police leave, I return to my room to take my bath after Riccardo said he's going to cook a decent meal.

I stay under the shower in the bathroom for long, hoping the water washes away every thought of Alessandro, every guilt.

I want to blame someone but I don't know who to blame.

I can't blame my stepbrothers because I know they're just protecting me. They came to my rescue. And I'm quite sure they didn't plan to kill him. Things just escalated so fast.
