I giggle as I step out of the hut. “Now, if you could mindlink Logan or Matthew, I would need someone carrying me for real.”

He rolls his eyes as he closes the door behind us, and I’m waiting for his eyes to glaze over as he crouches down.

“What…what are you doing?” I ask taken aback, looking around to see if someone is watching us.

“Come on. I’m going to carry you to your room,” he says, gesturing to me with his hands to move.
