CHAPTER 3

The rest of that day goes by uneventfully. And it’s boring as hell. That night I decide to change that.

I’m not working, I have zero responsibilities and I’m young. So it just makes sense to join up with some old friends to go out and get stoned as shit on some good pot. It’s just that by the time I get home, my eyes are all bloodshot and I’m pretty spacy in the head. I hope to hell that mom and Charlie are asleep. Of course, they’re not.

The living room light is still on when the car rolls up to the house shortly after 10 PM...
