Emily's POV

“I mean my words, Emily!” He left me in suspense as always. I was discharged from taking care of him that morning, I had to return to my normal duties, my mission here in my pack. He wasn't allowed to go, as he was now getting clingy.

An hour later, I received a call from Bestian, Calvin's beta who was here in the pack as well.

“I'm afraid you are gonna meet with someone you wouldn't like to. The Alpha has an important document which he wants you to help him deliver, he's still recovering, you know.”

“Who's that?” I asked him to go straight to the point....
