"Is Nora's father still alive?" Nora's curiosity was beyond what was happening. "Please answer me," she urged Layla.

But it seemed Layla had zoned out in her thoughts, and she seemed not to be there anymore. With frustration, Nora hit her on her shoulder. "Madam, is Nora's father alive?"

And then Layla came back to her stance, and nodded. Just then, the door to Layla's cabin opened, and Alfred walked in. Layla pointed at him. "That is Nora's father. Yes, he is alive."

As if the Moon Goddess had put a solution to her problems all at once, Nora sank into a chair that was provided to her by Layla....
