"Is she really your sister?" Mira watched as Ryan's eyes burned with disbelief.

Anticipation tingled up her spine with the questions Ryan was asking.

"Of course, everyone in the world knows that Daphne is my sister," Mira replied, her eyes narrowing in suspicion.

"Did she say anything bad?" Mira asked.

"No, not really," Ryan said.

Mira moved closer to Ryan, trying to convince him that her sister wasn't all that bad and that whatever was happening to her currently was due to her pregnancy and its side effects.
