Asher’s POV.

Asher pushed the door to his room open, steeping in to find Elizabeth and Izzy talking before they went absolutely silent when they saw him. Without being told, he knew he was their topic of discussion.

Asher could clearly see the pain and sadness in her eyes even though she was barely making eye contact with him.

“Hello” Asher said to Elizabeth before turning to acknowledge Izzy with a nod.

“Greeting Alpha” Izzy said respectfully before rising up to her feet with a slight bow at his direction.

“Beth, I'll see you tomorrow. Please take care of yourself” Izzy said, giving her hands a gentle squeeze.
