Beth was unable to sleep and felt disturbed. She tried to sleep but it seems sleep was far away from her. She's decided to watch her baby sleep instead as she sat quietly by his cot.

She knew her inability to sleep is due to the weird changes in her body, couple with the fact that her mind was really unsettled. She is scared of Alex's reaction if she tells him which is why she has reason kept it all to herself.
