My heart was pounding so hard I was sure he could see it. I shifted my weight and the towel rode up a little higher on my thigh. “I’m going to the mall soon. I need to get out of this house for a bit.”
He nodded once, eyes flicking back up to my face but not before they lingered on the curve of my hip where the towel was slipping. “I’ll be waiting right here until you’re ready.”
