Pamela is about to pass out due to Wallace's questions. But, Wallace doesn't care and continues to question her with harshness and ferocity.

"Come on, Pam! Answer me what happened!"

Pamela starts to cry. "I have nothing to do with what happened! How am I supposed to know? I've been here all the time!"

"Idly, doing nothing?" Wallace raises his eyebrows.

Pamela walks away to the living room and Wallace follows her.

"I... I didn't feel well. Pregnancy stuff, Wally, I'm a first-time mom, remember that."

"So it was just that? Did you feel unwell and that's why you didn't make the lunch I deserve?"
