Josias announces to Cristina and Raymond Chaves that he intends to assume Caio's supposed paternity; since Pamela insists on saying that he is the father. But, he doesn't intend to live much less marry Pamela.

As an addict, Cristina cannot bear the brief period of abstinence and turns the television back on. Raymond is enraged.

"Woman, I ordered that damn TV off!"

"I NEED to know what's going to happen to the protagonist, dammit!" She roars back, out of control.
