Pamela is trying to rest, but Mrs. Chaves, as predicted, is sewing a dress that she had not planned, but "suddenly" had the idea to make, just on the day that Pamela returned from the hospital. The deafening noise of the sewing machine seems to pierce Pamela's eardrums.

"VRRRUUUUUUMM!"

"Mom, shut up that machine!" Pamela screams louder than the machine, "Abigail said I need to rest!"

"Are you thinking this is a hotel?" Mrs. Chaves asks in a comical tone, but the mockery hurts Pamela's heart, "If you feel uncomfortable, go to your room."

Pamela feels the urge to take one of the needles and pierce her own mother's jugular...
