Pamela and Beto approach the counter where Vera and Wallace are. The two are so surprised by Pamela's sudden appearance that they don't even question why she's with Beto.

"Pamela, there's nothing much to explain." Wallace defends himself, clearing his throat.

"Are you by any chance unpleasant about Melissa and Josias's engagement?" Pamela stares at him steadily, arms are crossed.
