Wednesday, promotion day on the radio. Josias is in Teodoro's kitchen, now with Uélton properly awake and dressed for work. Teodoro enters and takes a jar of plum jam out of the refrigerator.

"So, Uélton, how was the conversation with your father?" Josias asks in a friendly tone.

"It was wonderful. Hearing the father say that he loves and supports his son is exciting and comforting." Uélton responds emotionally while taking a sip of coffee.
