The sun peeps through my separating eyelids and I gently peel open my eyes. Jace is draped across me. It feels good to have him next to me. When I try to move, I realize how much my muscles ache.

We made love until almost four this morning, and I'm worn out. Jace must be tired because he hasn't stirred. I really wish I could stay here wrapped up in him, but I do need to go to work. It's his presentation day. I need to check on all the appointments they will be shipping down for my office.
