Brielle's POV

I stepped out of the bathroom after some ten minutes of enjoying the water pouring down my body. I decided not to wear a single piece of clothing or tie a towel around me.

Entering the room, I did not see Jace on the bed where I had handcuffed him to before I left for the bathroom. I froze feeling terrified. Then I felt someone touch me from behind.

"Argh!" I screamed, jerking out of fear and assuming a fighting position, but then I settled down the moment I saw that it was just Jace. "Jace, how did you free yourself from the handcuffs?"
