King Derek's POV

I woke up to the gentle breeze that blew into the room through the window. I exhaled heavily as I yawned, stretching out my arms. I blinked my eyes intermittently as I tried to sit up on the bed. I sat there momentarily, trying to muster up the strength to get up from bed. I stood from the bed gently. I stood there momentarily before a thought struck my mind.

My mind wandered off to Eli. I smiled as her name popped up in my head. I made up my mind to go and check on her. I walked out of the room slowly, holding my hands...
