“Shut your mouth!” Ethan yelled at me, placing a finger across his lips, as he turned to look at me, giving me a fierce look. My whole body trembled from the fear of what I had seen. I could not get my eyes off Mara, as she lay there on the floor. How could he be this wicked? I thought. My heart pounded harder as I breathed heavily. I felt as if I was running out of breath.
