ARIA’S POV

The royal family stormed out of my room without a word. I ran after them, but before I got to the door, it was locked from the other side.

“Let me out! Hello? Somebody!” I yelled at the top of my voice, but there was dead silence. I didn't even hear their footsteps walking away from the door.

The next few hours were the longest and the most difficult in my life. It was like running away from the slave traders over again, because I was in the dark, unaware of what was happening.

My fate was being discussed or maybe fought for and I had no idea...
