My legs and hands shook terribly. Seeing them tied to chairs, although unconscious, made me tremble. Not out of fear of his large army or the pain of his betrayal, even though I was coming to that. My shaky legs and hands were solely from a place of rage.
“Let the kids go. Whatever this is, we can settle it,” Aria spoke calmly to Logan, walking towards him with open hands, as a sign of surrender.
