Senna’s POV
Viktor sat across from me near the fireplace. He had one ankle crossed over the opposite knee. The sleeves of his white shirt were rolled neatly to his forearms. He looked relaxed.
“You reorganized the eastern staff schedules,” he said, lifting his tea. I looked up from the book I wasn’t really reading.
“I had to change them. They were inefficient.” There was no tone in my voice.
“The staff has taken a shine to you. They’re terrified of disappointing you now,” he told me, sipping his tea.
