Korrigan stood at the front of his group. He fixed me with a sly smile. My heart hammered in my chest. Above us, the wisps floated around, ready to follow us the moment we were in their eyeline.
It wasn’t a good situation. Motioning for Thistle to stay behind me, a bead of sweat broke out onto my forehead. Someone above us, someone screamed.
