His lips curled up at the corners as the spark in his eyes grew. “Does it now?” He inches closer, his breath mingling with mine. “And what about now? Are you steaming mad at me?”

“Just steaming,” I answered as he quirked an eyebrow. Lust tainted the longing in his gaze. As much as I wanted to cave to his needs and desires, I refrained.
