My mind stretched like a rubber band plucking the cords that were tied around my soul until I got a hint of her. There was resistance as the vibration rumbled back to me. Even if I did show up to her place, she wasn’t there, and I was almost positive her family would start asking me questions I wasn’t ready to answer.
