SUNLIGHT POURED THROUGH THE BLINDS , leaving the table looking like a crosswalk. The tip of the pen rapped against the table, filling the silence as I stared at the police chief. Apart of me wondered why I picked him out of all the people from the Delegation, but I’d hoped maybe I could get a better understanding of the security of Moon Valley. Instead, I found myself sitting in his office, bored out of my mind.
