Dianna groaned. She ached. Her entire body ached. Even her hair ached. She laid still and tried to catalog everything, sorting out what was genuine pain and what was just pain from lying in one position too long.
A soft snore from beside her made her eyes fly open, and she slowly turned her head to see Jack. He was still sound asleep, his lashes kissing the apples of his cheeks and hiding those grey eyes she loved so much.
