Moments later, two black SUVs pulled up, Mose’s reinforcements. Without saying a word, he strode over to Ethan’s side and gently lifted Elena into his arms. In a protective and possessive manner.

“She’ll be safe now,” he muttered, voice gruff with emotion.

He placed her carefully into the waiting car, he turned toward his men, voice low but commanding. “Escort Ethan back to the party. The rest of you…” his gaze shifted to the groaning kidnappers on the ground, “you know what to do.”
