Susan had undergone her surgery. Her eyes flickered open as the early morning sun rays hit her face.
She tried to get up but the effect of anaesthesia still hung in her head. The nurse who was preparing her morning dose rushed over to her.
“Ma'am, you can't move now. The effect of anaesthesia has to die off completely, to avoid complications,” She adviced as she supported Susan on the bead.
“Hmm,” Susan mumbled as she lay back in the bed.
