DARIUS' POV.
“That can't be.” I pushed past the bars myself, and raised the arm of the seer.
Cold, heavy… lifeless.
She was truly dead. Just like that. She was gone with all her secrets, and everything she was yet to tell me.
Her arm fell back with a plop, and my nostrils flared, as my teeth bit my cheek hard. I stormed out of the cell, and went to the dungeon guards, who had their trembling heads down.
