Of course, I had no choice, but to stop hitting the damned idiot, and leave it for another day.
If she died too early, then I would be in trouble. So annoying. I'd have loved to pummel her until she spilled out her intestines, and soaked the floor in her blood.
I was still amidst my violent thoughts when I approached the mansion, and met it in an even bigger frenzy. Everyone was going around like a swarm of crazy bees. Didn't they see the time?
It was past the time the maids ought to retire, and the time for guards to swap...
