“Phew.” I said for the thousandth time that evening.
Everytime I thought about Darius, and how I'd narrowly escaped him, was nerve-jangling. My fingers found my neck, caressing it.
He would have squashed me. I'd come clean. Darius knew I knew about Hazel. There was no turning back.
“My lady, is there anything you need?” Hannah asked me, taking my empty cup of wine from me.
