CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE
HAZEL
My fingers drummed on my lips for the one thousand and ‘one-th’ time, and slowly, my lips stretched into a smile. Throwing myself onto my pillows, I kicked the blankets around, giggling to myself.
“Gosh.” I threw the covers over my head, and folded my lips.
The kiss— it plagued my thoughts all afternoon. I couldn't even do a single thing without it flitting into my mind. It was just too good. I felt I'd be embarrassed, but I actually wanted more. It had awoken a hunger within me, so deep that it felt like a monster rising from slumber.
