I yawned, stepping out of the room to get myself something to eat.
Perhaps, it was just my intuition, but the house felt strangely quiet. The fridge light reflected on my face as I pulled it open, and I saw that Hazel's food for the day hadn't been given to her.
“Are you planning to starve her now that we're going to kill her?” I called out, “Well good riddance.”
