Melissa and I were dressed and attended to by experts. We were seated in front of a large mirror that showed the whole room. “No matter what happens tonight, you’re forbidden from taking all the shine. I will not be the first topic on the news for being a neglected bride.” Melissa spat.

“How can you be a neglected bride? It’s a private ceremony. Darius said he invited only a few guests.” I replied.

“And Darius has been so busy that he forgot to tell those guests they cannot bring other guests. I’ll tell you something. Half the people present at our wedding are reporters in disguise....
