I tapped my pen on the desk, deep in thoughts. Xander brought a letter to me that the Alpha of the Crimson wolves pack has declared war against us. 

Apparently, he got wind of how I trespassed his territory and killed two of his pack members. He tagged them ‘important members of the pack'. 

Normally, I wouldn't be this bothered about a war. I thrive on violence. But things were different now. I have a mate and a child on the way and I'll protect them with everything at my disposal.
