My hand flew to my stomach, and I let out a wail. Darius’ eyes widened, and he froze, with only his hand moving slowly to touch the sheets. He pushed away the covers, and gave a sharp gasp when he saw my legs bathed in blood.
Then I collapsed against him.
"Anybody there!?” Darius shrieked, and maids and guards rushed in. “Start the car!”
I was pushed onto the back of one of the guards, and rushed down the hall, down the stairs, past the many rooms and halls, before we came out into the light morning sunlight.
