Maxton had called and told me to meet him at Emmiel's bar.

I'd contemplated coming up with an excuse to avoid meeting up with him but, Alena had told me to face it head on so that I would be able to quickly get over it.

Strolling into the bar, I walked towards Emmiel by the counter. "Hey. Is Maxton here?"

"He's waiting for you in the VIP section upstairs"
