"Dad!" I cried out, running towards him.

Dad stared at me, taken aback. "Alena, what are you.. how are you..?"

"I was with Asher when the call came" I explained as Asher made his presence known to dad.

"Greetings, Mr Volkyvan"

"I didn't know you were back from the states, Asher" Dad says. "I didn't even think the hospital would be opened today"

"How's Mom?" I asked.

"She was just moved into the labor room not quite long. I don't know what's happening on there" Dad says.
