“I’m pregnant…” Kate whispered again and looked down. My lips parted as I stared at her. I don’t know what to say. I don’t even know if I have the right to say anything knowing that it’s her personal life.

She sobbed and palmed her face in frustration. “Bree, something happened between me and Hugo and I don’t know if it’s his child or what.”
