Cain paled. He was taken aback with what I said. I know he’s too scared to hear his mistakes and shortcomings. He’s a man full of pride and so full of himself.

He slowly shook his head. He opened his lips but I bet he couldn’t retaliate because he knew how he ignored me whenever I needed his help.

I clenched my jaws. “Tell me, Cain. Do you remember anything about helping me? You don’t remember anything, right? Because you never help me. Not even once.”
