"Where are you going?" Rogue asked with a creased forehead.

I chewed my bottom lip and glanced at the food before answering. "Kate needs me."

He sighed and pulled himself up. "Let me drive for you—"

"It's okay. You haven't eaten."

"So you are. Let's go."

"Rogue, just stay here. You're tired, I know."

He stared at me for a few seconds. I can see annoyance flickering in his eyes. He clenched his jaws as his eyes darkly stared into mine.

"I'm going with you, Brianna."

The door suddenly swung open and it revealed Kate. She entered and froze after she realized I'm not alone.
