When I heard her say that, a shudder raced down my spine. I couldn't believe it; how could I be a hybrid and king in two places? Now that I think about it, everything is starting to make sense, which might explain why I experienced what happened.

"Really?" I asked, finding it difficult to believe.

"No, I'm kidding," Cindy sneered sarcastically.
