Astrid's POV:

I awoke with a gasp. The familiar walls of Charles' clinic encircled me. I held my head and tried to recall what had happened, and everything flashed in front of my eyes like a movie.

I recalled everything about how I was in so much pain, and then there came Rafael's mother... Oh no, did I bring her back to life? My child? Is he okay?
