After a year together, Mathew and I were enjoying each other's company.

I truly believe that having him in my life has been a blessing. What I couldn't believe was that I would grow up to be not only a mature lady, but also a wonderful wife and a better queen, capable of supporting her king with whatever resources she came across.

We certainly had our own problems as a family, including a few quarrels, but these only served to strengthen our bond even more. We have risen to the level of insurmountable. No one and nothing could ever come between us.

At least, that's what I had assumed...
