"Wanna go get drunk?" Sofia whisper-yell at 1 in the morning, snapping me out from trying to sleep. I turn to her to see her staring at me from her bed through the dim lamp on the drawer between us.

"No..." I look at her suspiciously as she sits upright from her bed.

"A bunch of us are gathering by the lake to hang out and drink," she explains with a smile.

"You did hear Mrs. Johnson telling us to go sleep because we have to wake up early tomorrow, right?" I ask.

"So what? This is our last senior bonding trip. After this, we'll all go our own...
